Lone Star Lineman's Rodeo

Vendor Information

The 22nd LONE STAR "Lineman's Rodeo" will be held in Amarillo, Texas on Saturday, June 29, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. 2012 Rodeo hosted 13 teams and 38 apprentices. The Vendors’ Expo will begin at 3:00 p.m. Friday, June 28, 2013 at the host hotel. Included with this letter is the entry form for the 6th Vendor Golf Tournament.

Location: The Rodeo will be located at our Amarillo Technical Center (ATC) at 7801 I-40 East beginning with the apprentice test at 7:00 a.m. followed by the opening ceremonies at 8:00 a.m.

Host Hotel: The host hotel this year will again be the Holiday Inn, West Medical Center located 8231 West Amarillo Boulevard. The hotel WILL NOT be handling the reservations, so please make sure to call, Margaret Barnett at (806) 378-4116 or (806) 681-8653 to reserve your room by May 31, 2013.

Vendors' Expo: The booths will be set up in the hotel banquet room. Your will have time to set up your booth on Friday beginning at 2:00 p.m. You should plan to be open for traffic by 3:00 p.m. and run until 5:00 p.m. Friday evening. We had 24 Vendors’ booths set up at our 2012 Expo. If you wish to participate in this sponsorship of the rodeo and the additional events, please mail your business card and donations to Margaret Barnett at 304 N. Nelson, Amarillo, Texas 79107. To give us enough time to prepare the advertisement of your company on our vendor board, which will be on display during the rodeo, please return the registration form by May 31, 2013. The cost for each booth is $200.00 this year.

All checks should be made payable to: SPS Lone Star Lineman's Rodeo.

Tailgate Party: The Tailgate Party will open at 5:30 p.m. The event will be held at the Tri State Fairgrounds with transportation provided from the host hotel to the fairgrounds and back.

Reception and Awards Banquet: The Saturday night reception will be held in the Commercial Exhibits Hall at the Tri State Fairgrounds and will begin at 6:30 p.m. with beverages and a buffet dinner followed by the presentation of awards.
