Vendor Information

The 26 th Lone Star Lineman’s Rodeo is fast approaching. It has been scheduled for Friday evening, June 16 th . The 2016 rodeo hosted 14 teams and 57 apprentices. The Vendors’ Expo will begin at 4:30 pm on June 16 th at the Amarillo Technical Center (ATC) at 7801 I-40 East. Included with this letter is the entry form for the 10 th Vendor Golf Tournament that will be held on Saturday morning, June 17 th .

Host Hotel: The host hotel this year is the Holiday Inn West Medical Center. The hotel WILL NOT be handling the reservations, so please make sure to call, Margaret Barnett at (806) 378-4116 or (806)681-8653 to reserve your room no later than May 5th.

Vendors' Expo: The booths will again be set up at the south side of the rodeo grounds. You will have time to set up your booth on Friday beginning at 2:00 pm. If you are bringing a vehicle, that vehicle needs to be in place no later than 3:00 pm. Please let us know so we can plan accordingly. You should plan to be open for traffic by 4:30 pm. We had 27 Vendor booths set up at our 2016 Expo. If you wish to participate in the sponsorship of the rodeo and the additional events, please mail your business card, registration form, and check to Margaret Barnett at the address listed above by May 5th to give us enough time to prepare the advertisement of your company on our vendor board, which will be on display during the rodeo. The cost for each booth is $200.00 again this year. Also, credit card payment is available this year.

Rodeo Location: The rodeo will take place at the Amarillo Technical Center (ATC) at 7801 I-40 East beginning with the apprentice test at 5:00 pm, followed by the opening ceremonies at 6:00 pm at the Don Taylor Rodeo Grounds.

Tailgate Party: The Tailgate Party will begin at 5:30 pm on Saturday, June 17th, with free beverages and beginning at 5:30 food will be served. The location for this event is at the Tri State Fairgrounds. Transportation will be provided from the host hotel to the fairgrounds and back.

Awards Presentation: The Award Presentation will begin at 6:30 pm. Angie Kelihauer, from "The Voice", will play from 7:00 until 10:00.
